H&M wish-list

001. If you read my April's favourites post you'll know I'm currently using my Maybeline NY One by One which unfortunately is not working very well for me because it just clumps like crazy. With that on my mind I'm dying to try the H&M one, not only but also because it's so inexpensive. Have you ever tried it?? What did you think??
002. My last eyelash curler just fell apart a few months ago and I havn´t gotten around to replace it but I'm definitely thinking of buying this one to do so.
003. I was in H&M this weekend but was in a rush and couldn't pick up these. While I was at the cashier I also saw that are now in stores these really cute nail polishes for 95cents each and there was this gorgeous colour which I'm thinking about going back to buy. There were also some gorgeous lipglosses (I'm not a massive fan of lip glosses... but they were so pretty!!) at 95cents each. I can't stop thinking about them....

This was a rather small post but if I'd included these in the previous wish-list it'd have been huge and anyways I was hoping to see the glosses and the varnishes on the website so you guys could take a look but I just couldn't find it, most likely because they're fairly new.

Wish-list #2

I'm sorry I'm taking so long to post guys but I've  been on a jumble between work and... work... and Ken Follet's Pillars of the Earth. Anyhow, these are some bits and bobs I really want to pick up  so here we go:

001. The Jeffrey Campbell Litas have just stole my heart and I've found a pair at a quite sensible price. Am just awaiting the right moment to purchase them.... soon my babies... soon...
002. and 003. I've been looking at shells for my phone and am currently undeceive between these two beauties
004. I am also on the hunt for the perfect Aztec print shirt to use with my feather earrings ... not this one, though hahaha
005. Ever since I saw Stephanie's video on her fave brushes I'm also thinking on investing on this baby. Looks like suck a nice brush to apply my BB cream and I don't find it very expensive at all. The thing is, I'm not sure how much will they bill me for the shipping to Portugal...
006. Ever since I saw Alix's video I've been waiting this soooo damn much, she actually said she'd give up on other polish removers and I was like "waoooo!!" So I'll just have to find a way to get my mittens on it...
007.  My watch is going a bit oldy and ... ugly so I'll be needing a ew one soon. This tipe is really appealing to me, so I'll have to pop in Parfois and take a look !

PS. if you're not sure about what item corresponds to the number you can click the number (except for 002.  and 003.) to make sure

I have more wish-list material but I decided to put the H&M goods all in a separate post because they're so many!!

My last weekend (12th and 13th) in OOTD's

Hia, these were last weekend's OOTD's... sorry for not posting it sooner but... I just suck. And also have been on quite bad mood... I now realise that the captures look indeed too small but if something catches your attention please just zoom in!! xx

On other matters I have next week off school for ... studying for exams. which doesn't sound all that exciting so I'll try to post regularly, keep you updated and myself occupied. On Uni matters, I'll also be starting my internship the other week, so I might just undergo a quite no-blogging phase there. And that sums it up. I have a hundred of wishes so might just do another wishlist soon....

Se ya!!!

Haul - H&M and Zara

I don´t really know how to start these posts so... I dunno. On Tuesday it was a bank-Holiday in  Portugal so I didn't go in on Monday and stayed at home, so me and my aunt decided to go window shopping in Leiria and I ended up picking up some bits and bobs that I really wanted.

First things are brushes which... i don't know, just sort of woke up one day and thought I needed more brushes, specially because I recently bought the 24h colour tattoo eyeshadow and it's a creamy one and I don't really know how to apply it if not with my finger and that's not precise at all and I always end up putting some other colour on top. So here they are:

I don't really know what to say about brushes but... I bought three: the thing is, one of them was double pointed and I didn't notice until I got home haha. OK, so, they were 2,95 euros each from H&M and I got the first one (top to bottom) for "regular" eyeshadow patting, then a tiny one which is quite stiff so I thought it'd be good for creamy eye shadows but I'm afraid it might be too little to do so. The third one is the double ended one and I bought it for the angled-brush one and then... found out that it had a round stiff one on the other end and I tried it with the cream shadow and it was perfect  so I'm really happy with that.

Then, I got a dark blue bikini top to go with some bikini tops that I have and a black bikini top to pair with a black loose bottom I have... Although it's not getting any warmer but... I bet after this stupid rain and cold it'll be like 30' C and I'll die of heat.

Oh and I almost forgot, the bikini bottom was 9,95euro from H&M and the top was 12,95euro from Zara.

I went in Zara just for that bikini top which I'd decided to buy the previous time I'd been there but I'd just forgotten about it at the exit of the ... "changing rooms" haha can't remember the proper word sorry!! But then I decided to take a look at the shoes in there and as soon as I saw these I knew I HAD to have them because I've wanted a pair ever since... they started appearing through the Internet. I'd like them to be the smaller size but they just don't do it (oh... my tiny tiny feet...) so I just got the 36.

And I ADORE them!!! And that was I all I bought :) Hope you liked it. I'm actually writing too much on my posts lately so... if you don't want to read that much... sorry about that.

April's favourites

This being the first time I'm doing one of these posts, I'll explain what it is: these are the products that I've been using a lot this month. Having lost a good part of my pictures from my trip to the UK, I thought doing this is a good way to turn that around and talk about something else. I have to warn you, though, I probably won't do these every single month because I don't use that much make-up on a regular basis neither do I buy a lot of new products often and that makes it pretty repetitive.

Getting to  business:

The first thing I'll be talking about will be Garnier's BB Cream in light: I've used this product every single day since I bought it and I don't regret it at all!! You're more than likely to have heard about BB creams but if you haven't, they're basically tinted moisturiser that are supposed to work wonders on your skin. If they do or don't do wonders for your skin, I'm not one to talk but in reality I've always had problems with the colours of foundation (I'm not light enough for the lightest and too light for the next colour!!) and this just RESOLVED ALL MY PROBLEMS in that matter. It blends in perfectly to my skin leaving it feeling so soft and velvet-like. It's amazing.

Think I might have blogged about this product before but it's the most amazing mascara I've ever used. Because it has 2 "steps", one for volumizing and one for lenghtening. On a day-to-day basis I use only the first step and it only gives a very subtle darker colour to my lashes (which are too light for my eyebrows) which is just perfect and virtually undetectable.

When I want something a bit more obvious and dramatic I'll apply a few coats of the Maybeline NY One By One mascara on top of the first "step" of the Bourjouis one. The reason for this is that the One By One clumps my lashes terribly and the first step of the Bourjoius that separates and defines them really well. It's an amazing "base coat".

As I stated before, used this khôl express from Maybeline NY (properly sharpened) in the place of my liquid eyeliner. The result is a bit different, a bit more suttle and fades faster but it's a really over-all good result.

Another product that has been posted about before: while I was in the UK I've used this as a blusher/contour every single day and got loads of compliments about it, so am definitely thinking of adopting this look. Usually I don't feel the need to use blusher but this makes a really nice effect between a blusher and a bronzer, really nice for summer.

The 24h Colour Tatoo ( wich was on my UK wishlist ) and I bought it in Liverpool One. The only way I can apply it to my eye-lid is with my ring-finger, because it's so creamy and I don't own any good brushes for that purpose (any advice on what to get??) and that is quite imprecise so it works beautifully as a base for almost any eyeshadow I'll want to make a bit darker or dressier.

Found this at the bottom of my purse and it's a really tinted lipbalm and extremely moisturising and nourishing. Can't stop until I finish it haha!

I've been reading this book for... seriously ages but this month I've re-found my love for it and been devouring it's story. It's amazingly well-written. If you're a book worm like me then go for it!!

Last but not least, my Godmother gave me this beautiful Pandora bracelet which I couldn't get out of my wrist for the sake of me. It's beautiful and summery and full of emotional valour.

An that's all. It's been a bit of a long post but keep in mind I'll only do another one when something changes dramatically.

Thank you for reading, commenting and following x3

Clothes UK Haul - Miss Selfrige

I went on a bit of a bargain-hunt while I was in Wales and in Swansea I got a bit shopping-happy in Miss Selfridge !!

They were all in sale, this one was about £10 or £12... not sure. Quite cute for cooler days.

This one was £10 and is probably the one I can relate to more, right now. It's from the petite section which makes it really suitable for how tall I am and fits me really well. Also has the cutest pattern:

The next one was also £12 and this is how it looks :

The layers make it quite unusual and creative and that's what I loved about it.

Finally I got this t-shirt which I just adored even thought it was a bit pricey compared to the dresses (it was £12)

It's clearly way too big for me but I do like that look a lot so that's ok. It's also as pretty paired with a tight skirt in a go-out look as with some jeans for a more everyday look.

Hope you've enjoyed !! Thank you for reading, commenting and following!!
